This was actually a good enough read, it definitely had much more twists and a better story line than alot of clichéd erortic novels. I espically liked the story line and the fact that it was an easy read. The twists in the story, although were a welcome surprise, I thought everything happened a little too abruptly, like when Abby was attacked by Richard, I thought that that scene started and ended with little description. I, personally, would have liked a little more descriptive explanation of the feelings and the circumstances and perhaps a little bit of a suspense. I also just couldn't quite feel the connection between the two main characters, I would've liked if their attraction & chemi... morestry was described more thoroughly or differently, esp. the way the characters were introduced was inadequate somehow. I couldn't connect with the characters, too. I thought that the relationship of Abby with her parents, her Nonna and Taylor should have been described more intensely to help the readers feel connected to Abby as well as make the readers realise what was it that lead Abby to do what she did. I could not understand what it was that acutally led her do that. All n all, I enjoyed the twists in the storyline.
review 2: I actually loved this book and could not stop reading. It was a well written book that I found to be very enjoyable. It was heartfelt and had me crying at times the ending was a surprise and I can't wait to read the next book. Abby is the daughter of two very successful models who watch every calorie, travel the world, and ignore their daughter. She majored in business because they didn't think it was enough to major in Culinary Arts. So she now works in an office and bakes on the side. Taylor is the owner the company Abby works for. He discovers she is the secret cupcake lady and takes an interest in her. As Abby and Taylor get to know each other, they share some steamy sex scenes. less
