review 1: I learned a few things reading this book. 1. Bob Saget says 'to this day' A LOT. 2. He is friends with everyone, or so he says. 3. He can be incredibly sad. I found nothing shocking or revealing about Bob Saget's story except for the fact that three of his uncles died from heart attacks and his two siblings died well before their time. It was so, so sad. There was no dirt on the cast of Full House, like articles had said there would be, although I don't think that would have made the book any more interesting to me. His 'crazy antics' with John Stamos and Dave Coulier was just kind of anticlimactic. I thought I accidentally skipped a part somewhere. The thing is, I'm not a big fan of his, but I thought it would be fun to read about this different side of the man made famou... mores for family friendly TV. It wasn't.
review 2: "Dirty Daddy" is a very entertaining, candid, and humorous book... if you like Bob Saget's infamous rambling approach to stand-up comedy. If you don't like the way he bounces all around subjects, then I must warn you that the book will drive you insane. But if you're on Bob's wavelength, as I was reading this book, it's a fun read. He's honest about himself to a degree (be ready for lots of "Well, I shouldn't tell you any more than that... but here's this...") and both admits his failures and stands by his triumphs. No "Full House" bashing here, he's proud of his achievements. This is a book that's more about entertainment value than a serious discussion of his life, so that's a drawback if you're looking for insight into the mind of Mr. Saget. He gives you the details and makes wisecracks about much of his life, but there aren't too many deep glimpses into his psyche. Imagine a dirty "Mystery Science Theater 3000" episode on an autobiography. It's all good fun, though, and a must for all of his fans and the curious. To the uninitiated of Bob's dirty side (are there any left?), this book will be a shock to all expecting Danny Tanner's memoirs.I'd love to see the looks on their faces, though, when they get to that first description of bestiality... less

Not as funny as I expected, but still a revealing look at the inner workings of Bob Saget.
