review 1: I absolutely loved this book. I am a big fan of Brennan Manning and this book moved me to tears at times. Once again, it was so good to be reminded of how many times you can fall or fail and pick yourself up knowing you are loved by God regardless of your performance. I was especially touched by some of the letters from Brennan's close friends who shared the impact he had on their lives. I can never get enough of hearing about someone who loves God and is real. There was a lot to be inspired by in Brennan Manning's life.
review 2: This is not your typical memoir, it is a raw and unfiltered account of a tragic life lived in light of God's mercy and grace. This is not a book that makes much of Brennan Manning, rather it is book filled with the struggles he faced
... moreand the many times he failed. Rather than making much of a man this book makes much of God and I think helps us to be more honest with ourselves, our own failings and our desperate need for the grace of God. When all is said and done may we too realize that "all is grace". less

Jesus loves me just as I am--a ragamuffin. Yes, ALL is Grace!
