review 1: When I came across this series and read what this story was about. I knew I would love this series, and I'm glad to say I was right! When I finished reading the two books I just had to write to Brianna Merrill to let her know how much I anjoyed them. Like it told her in my email; I've been trying to find a book with angel-like character who falls in love with a human girl for so long and finally with her series I found it!!!! What won me over were so many reasons but the main one wasthat I actually believe in the love that the two characters found in one another. with other books from other authors in these type of stories it just wasn't believable to me; to fall in love that fast without any foudation behind it. with Emily I can definitely see why she fell in love with... more Alexander and I can also see why alexander fell in love with her.my second reason for loving this book was the way she describe the world of Eden was amzaingly beautiful. It felt so peaceful just reading about it, so I could only amagine what it would be like to actually be there, if that world existed. I would love to say more about it but i dont want to ruin it for you people that are thinking of reading it and your just here to see the reviews on it, 'cause that is how I am when I see a book to read; I come to these websites to read what they thought of itThe only thing I can say is that if you get this book, you will for sure love it. for people that have read this genre you will be surprised of the originality of this story and be glad to add this to your collection. for people that are new to this, this is an awesome book to start. it's fast paced, romantic excitng and an absolute page turner.TO THE AUTHOR: THANK YOU AGAIN (FOR EVERYTHING)
review 2: In the first like 70% of the book it was kind of like Twilight with the whole food/castle/tour thing. Plus she drew way too many conclusions...I was like 'how in the world did you get that?!?!' and of course she has the stupidest thought process ever. It was kinda annoying. "A farmer! Since when does a farmer need a body guard? And women and infants dying in labor, that's pretty rare nowdays. The story sounds like something from 100 years ago."But the last 30% or so was actually pretty good. less
