review 1: I went to a session held by the author at a writing conference. She was excellent and is clearly a historical expert. I'm not sure why this book didn't hang together for me; I was very motivated by the author's process and experience and appreciated her answers and generosity with her knowledge of the craft. Might not have been in the mood when I picked up the book, but I really appreciated hearing the backstory.
review 2: Assegno 3 stelle al libro perchè mi è piaciuto e mi ha fatto vivere delle belle emozioni l'unico neo è la lunghezza, infatti l'ho trovato troppo lungo, molte parti potevano tranquillamente essere tagliate o abbreviate in quanto ripetevano qualcosa di già detto e soprattutto alla fine lo hanno reso un pò pesante.Lo consiglio a tutti gli a... moremanti dei romanzi storici al femminile che troveranno questo libro piacevole, ben scritto incentrato su di bel personaggio femminile molto MODERNO. less
