review 1: Ever wonder how many ways you can make the /ü/ sound? Me either, but after reading this book, I am thinking it could be done pretty easily. One way is to read the story, then have the class split up into 4 or 5 groups, read it again, having each of them in the group to write down the word they hear with the /ü/ sound. Then at the end each group writes out what words they heard, using the anchor chart you have torn off and placed on their table, along with markers.
review 2: I got this book better than I did "Ribbit Rabbit" and thus enjoyed it more. (Loved their appearance in this, though!) I got the humor in this more easily, and really enjoyed it. Seemed a bit toddler-ish, but I didn't mind. Again, a different way to deal with a "behavioral" issue (in this c
... morease letting in friends in an already established group). I really like that and it's very easy for kids to understand. less

Think this book needs to be test driven on kids . . . not sure if I like it or not

This would be a great book for a phonics lesson on the double o sound.
