review 1: I've had this one of my e-reader for more than 6 months and I was always putting it back. I was stupid ! First, because it's a novella, it doesn't take long to read it, second, because it's very good.For those of you who worry about a step sibling relationship, this is how Peyton sees it : "Zack is definitely not my brother. While our parents have been married since I was nine years old, Zack and I have never been on the same wavelength." They hardly speak to each other - or they just trade barbs. She feels closer to her much younger adopted kid brother. This story doesn't make you uncomfortable in any way.Peyton and Zack haven't seen each other for over a year but they're stuck in a family home at lake Tahoe for a skiing vacation. They both have changed, she gained some c... moreurves and things escalade after she surprises him in the shower ^^The story is fast-paced, well told, the characters are likeable and, believe me, it's hot ! And you know what ? You know those contemporary romances where you see the drama coming from a mile away and you whine inwardly in advance because you hate it but you don't see how it could be otherwise ? (This must be the longest sentence on my blog.) Well, the drama is avoided with a humorful twist that left me laughing ! That's what I call the cherry on top of the cake.Very good story. I have read a lot of good about this author and I definitely want to explore her books.
review 2: I bought this back in july from amazon when it first came out and I completely forgot to read it. I read it today and my only complaint is that I want more! I enjoyed the hell out of these two Peyton and Zack's chemistry/hate made for some intense smut! I was a little apprehensive when I saw that they were step brother and sister. I dont want to give anything away but thats NOT the case here, I love how something so taboo was written into just another love story but thats what Ive come to expect from Cara Dee. Wonderful short read, a must read! less
