review 1: Wow!! Another great book, It had my heart braking for Cameron. Then I was laughing at how he and Kate acted toward each other. Then I was screaming at the mean Thomas for what he was doing to everyone in Scotland. The rain works started coming at full speed at what Thomas did to Kate and Lord Mar. In all it was another wonderful book. It took me away from everything I am dealing with in real life. I can't wait to read the other book of this series. I would and will recommend this book to everyone. I haven't went into all of how I felt because I don't want to spoil it for everyone..
review 2: Very enjoyable tale with a brash young woman with a heart of gold, caring for others, falls for an outlaw who ends up being the earl. Frustrating that Thomas did not meet a... more bloody end, or at least we are not told about it as the reader. I would have preferred more resolution in that meddlesome, manipulative, conniving, power hungry jerk's end.Perhaps I am too bloodthirsty? Lol the romance and story was lovely. Will read more in this series happily. less
