review 1: I'm only about 65% of the way through this book. But I'm going to go ahead and give it two and a half stars. There are many cute short stories. At times the writer almost seems cocky in a "I know best" kind of way, going so far as giving her clients "permission" to get a certain dog. Her attitude does get a little bit irritating at times but overall I would still recommend this book to dog lovers.Update, I just couldn't finish it. The writing style just got too irritating to go on any further.
review 2: I downloaded this on my Kindle quite some time ago.....decided to give it a whirl. It's a collection of short stories by a veterinarian about 'Littleness'---small dogs. Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, Poodles, Pugs....great stories about these little guys with big hear
... morets and attitudes. I don't usually like short stories, but this one is good. Of course, we are owned by two 'short' dogs. I don't call them little anymore! less
