review 1: Before I begin, I feel it prudent to state that the author was kind enough to send me a few of her books to read. While, she did not ask me to review them, I am doing so, because I want to. This is the third Nash book that I have read and she is still keeping me on my toes. I am impressed with how she is able to make each book completely different while keeping her work fresh and new. This book treads on one of my secret fears; What would I do if I ever saw someone in the back of a trunk? I don't feel the need to elaborate on the story as I am not a reviewer who enjoys throwing in spoilers. The plot is solid and keeps the reader holding tight to the edges of each page and when the climax comes, you are flipping through them faster than a Rolodex. Characters are believable a... morend likeable, well, except for our villain, of course; No one should like that jerk. The flow and editing were great. An easy read that can be completed in an hour or so and is appropriate for teens. Thanks for the chance to sample some of your books Ms. Nash. I will be looking for more in the near future.
review 2: Jen Canfield is nearly broadsided on her way to work. As the car bounded just inches beyond her, the car's trunk, which is held closed with bungee cords, opens just a little and she thinks she sees a small hand within it. Should she follow it or shrug it off and continue her route to work? An adventure awaits.......This is a short book that can be read in an afternoon. Good choice for a rainy day when nothing's going on. less
