review 1: I enjoyed the story but Conners speaking manner kept jerking me out of the book. I think you can achieve the semblance of a southern accent other then using words like hafta. That to me gives it more of an uneducated feel to the character. I also took another half of a star off for the fact that the author gave some great steamy blow jobs but didn't put the same effort into all the sex scenes. I also didn't feel like Conner was a true dom. It just felt a little off for me. If you are looking for a quick easy read with an enjoyable story line and a few hot sex scenes the is your book.
review 2: This is my first book by this author and I rather enjoyed it. I don't know that cowboys are my favorite, but there wasn't a ton of details about them here, although, Conn... moreer is also a bull rider and that was the main focus. There were some details about bull riding, but being as ignorant as I am on the subject, I didn't feel overwhelmed, but informed. I thought it flowed well. I really enjoyed watching Conner and Jessica's relationship develop even if he didn't understand it or think that it was evolving. I loved Brady and Evan as secondary characters. I look forward to reading more from her. less
