review 1: When I first read this book, I was escatic because the cover seemed so friendly and cute, and when I read it, it got more confusing. how did it go from a steamy and hot relationship four years ago to a boring, friend zoned relationship between Lexi and Cam?? I was literally screaming at her in my mind and she plotted ways to get Cam into Jaylene and ditched him, even for the most important holidays and town gatherings for them. I mean, why don't you just tell him straight up, but gently? It would have saved her lots of anxiety and tears. Like this one time, she was in a sandwich shop with a guy her ex-boyfriend knew, and Jaylene and Cam were just like, smooching in the corner as she was just staring at them. YOU HAVE TO ACT LIKE YOU DONT WANT HIM!!!! I know I sound cold he... morearted, but like, every single time Jaylene showed her up with her Southern drawl and her flirty dresses and sense of fashion. Not the best way to waste time when you could be doing homework. Has lots of drama, though!! That much I can say.
review 2: Lexi is a girl who looks to the future. She knows that she will be going in different directions as her boyfriend in college so she planned to get her boyfriend to like another girl. Once she completes that goal she thinks she's all set but when she saw them together, her heart melts and realizes the big mistakes she made. Her friends were always there to confort her and helping her get him back. I learned that it's not really good to look to the future all the time. Even though looking to the future helps you decide what to do next in your life, it might afffect the way you live right now. Lexi thinks she is doing the right thing but after what she did, it affected the way she lived and the people that she usually hangs around with. She realizes that time will help her through the future. less
