review 1: somehow I wish reality was like these town's characters. To know and receive love can be a hard journey which Lianne experienced in this story. How long do you wait doing for others before you put your plans into action? To run and have new beginnings is very natural. To stay where life is a mess you dig a hole for yourself n you find you need someone to help you out (spiritually n someone with skin on to be supportive).The story covered hope, friendships, trust, thinking of others, justice.
review 2: This was a thinly disguised "christian" story. I have nothing against religious themed stories but one of my pet peeves is the fact that they don't indicate it in a straightforward manner. I liked the plot & the characters but it got a little preachy at times. I w... moreas also kind of annoyed by the lack of character descriptions. I always like to picture what people look like and there really wasn't a lot to go on here. less
