review 1: CONDITIONAL LOVE BY CATHY BRAMLEY THE BLURB A takeaway, TV and tea as exciting as it gets for thirty-something Sophie Stone. Sophie’s life is safe which is just the way she likes it, she happy But when a mysterious benefactor leaves her an inheritance, Sophie has to accept that change is afoot. There is one big catch: in order to inherit, Sophie must agree to meet the father she has never seen.Saying ‘yes’ means the chance to build her own dream home, but she’ll also have to face the past and hear some uncomfortable truthsWith interference from an evil boss, warring parents, an unreliable boyfriend and an architect who puts his foot in it every time he opens his mouth, will Sophie be able to build a future on her own terms - and maybe even find love along the way?... moreWHAT I SAYI read this book on my kindle but i never wrote my review on my blog as it was before i started it so as this is now out in paperback i thought it would be nice to do on my blog .This is Cathy debut novel it a very funny book it very witty too and a great romantic comedy . You will be engrossed from the first few pages i was just hooked by the plot so will you be .it just a charming read Cathy seems to bring the characters to life they become your friends . Her writing style so easy to follow .It a wonderful tale of love , family and life changing decisions Sophie the main character she loves Take that so do we all . she alway loves her cup of tea with 2 sugars she seem to have a very nice life but it was a bit predictable her life seem safe and happy or was it ?Her boyfriend Maro dumps her on valentines day omg what a day to be dump on she so upset by this what is she going to do ? How will she cope ? We get to hear all about her coping she seem to be doing ok but then one day she get a lucky break a mysterious benefactor leaves her a inheritance sophie so shocked by this but she has a few rules to follow what will they be ? She go to see the cottage she was left how Cathy describes it you can see this in your mind she could do so much we it i loved the sound of it . Sophie never meet her dad her left when her mum was pregnant she not happy about this rule she got to meet him we get to hear all about it i want to tell you more but i want you to read you will be hook on the story Her mum now lives in spain she not happy about this at all oh what a happy family Her friends and flat mates did not like her boyfriend Maro they seem happy she spilt up with him so why he trying to get back in the picture? What he up to i felt you got to watch him he was not a nice man When she get the cottage she takes on a architect Nick to help her they seem to have a lot in common they just seem to be good together. Could there be love on the cards ? Nick just seem the perfect guy for her Maro i did not like he so mean not a nice guy at all which will you perfect both are like chalk and cheese i say what about you ? Sophie get told a few home truth about her past from her mum and dad who was right ? I so liked her dad he was a great character in the story i felt for him so much her mum was nice too . Some parts of the book were so funny i like sophie walking with her skirt tucked in her tesco knickers she could do some silly things that will just make you smile so much i felt at times she was to dependent on other but she seem to grow up as the story when on she become so strong near the end of the book the end may be was a bit predictable but i like that i did enjoy it so much it just a lovely story the book now in paperback Cathy has now tweaked some of the characters and generally she given the book a more punchy, fast-moving feel to it the story still the same please remember my review on the ebook 4 stars Read enjoy pass on to other to enjoy to a wonderful story i want you all to read it just fab
review 2: Well Done Ms. Bramley. You sure this your first novel! Overall reading this story was like tasting a new chocolate for me. I was a bit disheartened by Sophie initially, she being so dumb for Marc -:), and being a bitch with her Dad to start with. She gratefully smartened up and cleared up her act. I enjoyed - laughs, smiles and a few cringes here and there. Sophie's story felt familiar yet unpredictable which made it unputdownable. less

It was pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but a sweet, easy read nonetheless.
