review 1: Chael's musings range from the mentor's who made him a man to the pre-Indian War Americas to the rise of the WWF to the most fraudulent bands of all time (Metallica and Aerosmith) to the greatest President of all time, Richard Nixon. Sounds like an LSD trip, but in fact it's a look into the mind of one of the sharpest guys you'll ever read. You might think from the cover that you're buying a biography by an athlete, but what you're really purchasing is a manifesto on the way things ought to be told by someone who's taken the time to do his research.
review 2: Love him or hate him, Sonnen is a smart guy that deserves to be taken seriously...when he is being serious. In this book, Sonnen shares his opinion on Nixon, work ethic, what it means to be a man, The God
... morefather, terrorists, walk out songs, etc. What I liked most about this book is that it showed where Sonnen comes from and how much hard work it has taken to get him where he is. This is as a direct result of his father and wrestling coaches. This is a quick read and there's enough solid material to make it worth your time. Plus, it'll make you laugh. less
