review 1: I really enjoyed this book! Of course, if you write a book with a similar plot to Pride & Prejudice, give it a modern twist and throw in a main character with an obsessive love of The Sound of Music...well, what's not to like? It was funny, well written and Clean!! A great weekend read, though I read it in one day. :) Appropriate for teens too since the main character actually has strong moral values. Yay for that!!
review 2: This is a mash-up of a modern Pride and Prejudice, a teacher's first year, and The Sound of Music, so it's pretty much a given that I would love it. The voice is great, the writing is tight, and I laughed out loud often. I'm sure I'll read it again (which, given the height of my 'to-be-read' pile, is saying a lot). After thinking abo... moreut this for half an hour, I'm amending my stars to 4.5--the ending was a little too pat, too perfect. But it's still a great book. less
