review 1: I won this book via Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. It might be that I am old fashion still, but I believe Adam acted way to old and unrealistic for his age. If my child ever talked or acted that way I would beat his ass. Now yes, I do know kids nowadays are introduced to drugs at a young age, but this was a little too unreal for me. Maybe I just don't want to admits nieces are at that age or I just don't see them behaving that way... I set this book down for a couple months and have finally decided to pick it back up just so I can finally finish it.. I must finish what I start but it's rough. It's not compelling not pulling me in. The way her son kept being referred as a brat, was unsettling to me. You are adults, yes he may be a difficult child, but be a little more ma... moreture about it. Also, obviously Jamie has a problem with your new boyfriend, try to find out why instead of acting like a teenager with raging hormones. It really bothered me.
