review 1: I liked the story tho not my fav of these series of books tho I must say that Sara in the other books sounds stuck up and ignorant to some people and it's until you read this you find out why and tho she had a hard time of it herself I don't think it is right the way she treats Christopher the way she does I know she is blinded but surely she could have had seen a therapist with all the money she has I Ike Christopher he seams to be a good guy and has been an excellent friend to Jake
review 2: As a writer and a reader one of the hardest tasks is to take a character and make a 180 degree change without it seeming fake. I don't know how many stories where I've disliked a character in one book and loved that same person in a second book... oh yes, I do - just one
... more book. This one. It's difficult to do but Christina Tetreault does it. When we first meet Sara Sherbrooke, she's a haughty, snobbish daughter of a presidential candidate. Not even the characters in her first book, The Teacher's Billionaire, liked Sara. But yet the "princess" has a story behind her that softens the character and makes the reader feel like they made a snap judgement of her. We meet Sara, this time, at her brother's secret wedding. She's single and in the midst of her already married and newly married brothers. Loneliness, alcohol, and a man willing to comfort her makes for a rash decision that leads to a night of passion. The downside is that the man is her brother Jake's best friend, Christopher. And don't we all know the unspoken rule of "you don't date your best friend's sister". Well, Christopher and Sara push that aside and find that they are good together. Christopher helps Sara come out of the cold shell and emerge as a softened butterfly. Christina did a fabulous job with The Billionaire Princess from start to finished and she has a life long fan in me. less
