review 1: I absolutely adore Pusheen! I've seen these cat illustrations in several places online and in the workplace over the last year, and love the quirks and truths that the author captures with Pusheen. Cats are positively fabulous and self-centered, but even their odd or frustrating behavior is endearing at times. Belton conveys this with typical cat activities as well as cat thoughts (which are most likely "exactly" what they think). Cute beyond all imagination, and insightful to cat behavior that only true cat-lovers will fully appreciate. Adorable!
review 2: This was one of the cutest books I've ever read. The star of the show, Pusheen, started out as an internet meme and worked her way into her own graphic novel. I read the kind of graphic novels that have supe... morerheroes, violence and capes. This book was the opposite of that (though Pusheen did model the "Superhero" sleeping position). It was cutesy and full of fat and fluffy cats. The graphic novel is organized by into five parts, each shows the reader different parts of Pusheen's life on--and off--the computer screen. Unlike the other fat cat (you know who you are), Pusheen is likable and downright adorable. You know the books of funny photos of animals that are supposed to brighten your day? This is one of them. less
