review 1: I just loved this little story. Bodee was my favorite character in Faking Normal. I love his good heart and his sincerity. I love the strength deep within him, that we don't expect to find right away. While this story isn't essential to understand Faking Normal, I appreciated the chance to spend time in Bodee's point of view. There is beauty in the simple sentences of this story, and rich emotions buried on every page. If you like Faking Normal, read this. And read Faking Normal, if you haven't. Though I liked this story even better.
review 2: Wow. I don't ordinarily like novellas because it's hard to get an actual story in so few pages. But of course, Courtney C. Stevens, being her usual genius self, has come up with a beautiful short story with new characters
... more and a super great little plot. It reminded me why I'm so crazy in love with Bodee Lennox. If you like Faking Normal, you've got to read this. If you haven't read Faking Normal, you've got to read that. It's just so fantastic. less

Good backstory for Bodee, but I'm not sure it's entirely necessary.
