review 1: This was an enjoyable read. The story was original. A lot of books seem to rely on you becoming attached to the characters (don't get me wrong, I love getting attached to the characters in a book), but this one relies more on the plot. I liked the characters, but the plot was what kept me reading. ... The length and amount of detail in the book seems to be perfect for a movie! I'd definitely watch it. Although I suspect the special effects necessary for the dragon may lead to some disappointment.
review 2: I downloaded this book fee on Amazon.com for my Kindle. When I first started reading I was intrigued by the connection and pull Verloren felt towards Ashley, and I was also intrigued by what incarnate creature she would turn out to be. While I liked their sto... morery of finding out they have been Soul Mates throughout the centuries and all, once Ashley turned 'hybrid', the whole being a shifter into a dragon, and the whole vamp thrown in, I kinda lost my initial interest, and just finished to see where it ended. I liked the characters and found interesting that in this story it was the girl, Ashley, who seemd to have a one-track mind, and kept trying to get it on with Verloren; as opposed to this being how most males act in some books (and let's face it, real life). Overall it was a quick read & it was ok. less
