You wonder throughout the book, if they will get their happily ever after. I enjoyed each character. Nina is a feisty one who can definitely hold her own. Conner is such a romantic which could make any woman swoon just with a look of those sapphire eyes. You'll meet several other characters in this story. Lola for instance is Nina's best friend. She looks out for Nina because she knows her past. Lola is pretty feisty as well and she seems like she can whoop some tail, if anyone messes with Nina. Everyone is very caring in this book, they help each other out especially in times of trouble. I gave this book a 4 star rating. I can't wait to read the second book of the Universe series.
review 2: Sapphire Universe is a quick read, a well written story that grabbed my attention and held it from start to finish, and an inspiring story of love and defeating the universe. I loved how Devon Herrara tied in key components of the story to the title of the book!Nina is a snarky, here is my wall protecting my heart and you will never get over it music teacher. She lost her parents when she was young and holds everyone off at arms length. She is no nonsense and thinks that the universe has it out for her. Everything happens for a reason d she sees signs everywhere she goes. She believes if you trust in these signs, your life will be as it should. She has her rules, and she does not like to stray from them.Nina's life totally changes on a bus ride to school one morning. Connor Wright is a super sexy, confident, alpha male that sees Nina and knows one thing... HE WANTS HER! He forces his way into Nina's life even if at first it is under the pre-tense of being friends. He also quickly forces his way into Nina's heart. The question is, will Nina let him in there and allow him to stay or will she misread signs and possibly mess up her entire future.Nina and Connor have quite the whirlwind romance and there is never a dull moment with these two. There is love, drama, friendship... oh... and HOT sex!!!! Wowzers.... Wright... WHEW!!! I adored both of these characters and was hoping the universe wanted them to be together as much as I did. I give Sapphire Universe 4 stars on the knock my socks off scale! This is a must read and I highly suggest that you 1-Click STAT! less
