review 1: Romantic thriller at its best! The story starts with a bang and holds you in a trance until the end. The characters—the good, bad, and ugly—are all well rounded with their own unique voices. The scenes were so well crafted, I felt as though I stood on the periphery watching it all unfold. Although romance is the central theme, there’s plenty of thrill to keep the plot moving along at a fast pace. I too found it difficult to believe that this was Ms. Bell’s debut novel. She’s a very talented writer, and I look forward to what she has in store next.
review 2: I originally downloaded this book because of the price. I don't read a lot of this genre because I always seem to be disappointed when I finish. So when I started reading, I already had the predet
... moreermined notion that it was going to be a fairly predictable plot and the characters might even be a little flat. I was pleasantly surprised to find the characters had some depth to them and there were some twists and turns throughout the book you were simply not expecting. I also enjoyed how the writer would switch between various character perspectives. It's well worth the read! less
