review 1: This book fell somewhere in the middle for me. I didn't feel like there was enough story or depth with the characters for me to really get involved and LOVE this book, but there was enough there that it didn't simply read as sex followed by more sex, etc. either. I honestly think I would have enjoyed the book more if it had been longer, provided more of the story behind why Greg and Jasmine were so intense together, and contained more of the steamy other than the morning in the store. I guess I just think it really could have been a full fledged novel with a whole lot of steamy so I was disappointed that it didn't fall together that way.
review 2: First off Thanks Elena for allowing me the privilege of reading this before it's available. Secondly to everyone
... more that's reading this review stop now go put your copy on pre-order. Now that, that's done on with my review...... From the start the sexual tension is there between Gregory and Jasmine ( btw not only are the names different from the norm, but fit these characters well). We learn from the get go something relationship wise happened with Gregory. Is it an ex?, Did he lose his true love?, or is he just an asshole? ( must read to find out) Jasmine is a young girl whose coming into her own if you will. She sees something in Gregory that not everyone sees, can she get him to see it before it's too late? I love their dynamics with each other. Elena has written her characters as people you would like to smack upside the head ( especially Gregory), want to cheer them on ( especially Jasmine at times) and most importantly you LOVE them. I have been telling anyone who will listen this is a great, sexy, short read that's just perfect to read over summer vacation. If you didn't take my advice from above, then now go reserve your copy today you wont be disappointed. less
