review 1: this was a pretty good mystery with lots of twists and turns and unexpected stuff in it. so why did i only give it 2 stars? because there was no one in this book that was worth caring about. the hero is not only flawed, as all heroes need to be, he is completely unlikeable. that goes double for all the rest of the characters. so why would i want to invest myself in characters i don't care about? i really wouldn't. but i did. oh well.
review 2: This book started off interesting, with a gruesome murder scene and unanswered questions. Then, it turned awful! It was full of so many misspelled words, missing punctuation, and some run-on sentences. I got the vibe that the author had no idea what to write about! If I wasn't one of those people who have the urge to fini... moresh a book once I start reading it, I would have stopped reading this one soon after I started. Big disappointment! less
