review 1: Oh my. As a Doctor Who fan, I thought this would be an interesting read about a fantastic lady. I've just finished it and it's left me on the verge of tears. Although it is an autobiography, it is also a moving tribute to Elisabeth Sladen, and all those she worked with. This was a book I didn't want to put down, and the further in I got, the harder it became. Definitely recommend it for any fans of the show, or the lady herself.R.I.P. Elisabeth Miller

... morelong with a glimpse into the nuts and bolts of being an actress.Quite a few tasty bits of gossip as well, and particularly interesting for the light it shines on Jon Pertwee, and early Who script development. The indifference of some of the directors toward anyone but the Doctor, and some of the uncomfortable sexism which was embedded in the times.Very interesting to learn that the Doctor was totally going to wipe out the Daleks until Tom Baker stood firm on the likelihood of the Doctor committing genocide. less

What a warm, generous lady. I'm so glad someone talked her into writing this book.
