review 1: Excellent book on the current state of the economy and one family determined to survive the practicalities we are all having to face these days. It was a delight to read. It also taught me about leaving food and sale items if I can afford full price items for the less fortunate who can not pay for my ilk of economy. Great book and the author is sooooo nice. She is humble and is genuinely delightful to hear from her readers. She is so lovely and gracious. A wonderful english author! :-)

... moreth financially and emotionally. This was a good read, although I felt it was a bit slow at times. Very much like a Joanna Trollope book... although not quite as good. Anyone who enjoys Trollope, though, would probably enjoy this one. less
