review 1: When I saw this book, I thought the Tweet and email set up was a fun idea. I was interested in seeing how the conversations via Twitter would work, as I myself have not been a Tweeter. I had also read other books like it. I was sadly very disappointed in this book. All the characters are absolutely terrible, more than the typical, "I'm in high school so I"m awful," sort of way. I didn't find myself rooting for them, or hoping things would work everything out in the end. I just sat there wondering why someone didn't just smack these girls and explain the real world to them, that you can't walk around whining about not having a boyfriend and expect someone to find that attractive. Meanwhile the one sweet boy is pining over the girl, who's not worth a moment of his time. And h... moreis friend (who is quite possibly the only worth while character in the story) sits back and calls them on all their stupidity.I found the pace to be decent, but the story incredibly dull. This is not a YA read I would recommend.
review 2: Book Cover: I thought it was a sweet book cover though it didn't really go with the story. *STAR*Author: I enjoyed reading this author's style of writing. I really liked that the format of how this book was done in tweet style. Made for some serious speed reading. *Star*Story: This story takes place in the high school years of 4 friends who are all looking for love. There is a love triangle that carries on throughout this book that keeps you wondering what is going to happen. *STAR*Characters/Relationships: I really enjoyed the relationship between Claire, Benn, Will & Lottie. Claire brings them together as a group of friends that soon become closer than they realized they would be. *STAR*Cleanliness: There were a few words used throughout this book. NO STAR Overall Review: I though this was a easy fun read that I thought would have been better set in a college setting rather than high school. I would definitely be interested in book number 2 if the author ever decided to take the story further to see where the relationships go. less
