review 1: This is the beginning of the Circle Eight series. Matthew is the oldest of the Graham siblings. Their parents were murdered , their baby brother kidnapped and he is now head of the family. He had to be married in order to get the land their father was trying to claim before he was killed, he tells the land office that he is married to a woman named Hannah. He then meets a Hannah and proposes to her the same day. Hannah lives with her Granny and runs their boardinghouse. She is chubby and plain looking. She knows she will probably not get married so when Matthew asked her to marry him she immediately says yes. Lots of family drama. This book was very slow in the beginning and Matthew was quite immature. Also, they "fall in love" too quickly for my liking as well as enjoy se... morex with each other entirely too much to have only known each other for two weeks. However, for the most part, once you get into the book, it starts to move rather quickly and is a worthy read. I would loan this book to a friend. TTFN-Elise!
review 2: I consider this 4 stars due to the way the book took event. Even though I am not into old western romance, it did however a little of new era. Matthew was a proud rancher to love and took care of all his brothers and sisters when fatality took place in his family. But with a love of a strong woman in his size, he didn't know what to do but continue how far his journey was going to continue. But it all work out to the best with his new wife and his brothers and sister which it does says correctly "Circle of Eight". Brava Ms. Lang, good read. Thank you. less
