review 1: Very well written and edited. This is a standalone book.This is the first book I've read by this author, and I really enjoyed it. All the female characters were interesting, had strong points-of-view, and were women I'd want to spend time with in real life. The geeky technology/gamer bits were really very well done and added to the charm of the story. The bad guy of the story was realistic and the plot seemed plausible. Sort of the trifecta for us logical, nerdy romantics!The story has a sprinkle of humor and the romance didn't get too sappy or gooey. The entire premise was really cute and sweet -- with just a little heat.Strongly recommend.
review 2: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED Kate. She made this book for me. I loved everything about her little geeky self. I lo... moreve how she loved Star Trek over Star Wars because I do too! I love that she loves Firefly because I do too! I loved her t-shirts and how she blushed. I could go on and on...Ok, I seriously have a girl crush on her. Honestly, I don't see how anyone wouldn't. I like Will too. He was everything he should have been for this kind of book: strong, funny, sexy. He was rich but down to earth and kind. But to be honest it was Kate that made this book for me. The plot was good, the sex was sweet and hot and I also loved the secondary characters. This is one of those books that you want to read again for the first time. I highly recommend this one if you have even a sliver of geekdom in you. less
