review 1: I love reading novels set in Madison, WI -- the hometown surroundings add a touch of realism, especially when well done (as is the case in Celello's novel). Her protagonist is a young woman lawyer whose husband has somewhat inexplicably enlisted in the Army, coming home irrevocably changed. The author handles the emotional challenges the main character very well, I think, and although the ending felt a bit contrived, I enjoyed the journey.

... morearegivers. Moreover, it made me realize that not nearly is being done to either mitigate or reduce the impact of living with PTSD and TBI has on many people throughout our country. In addition, to learning more about the impact of war, this book also lovingly portrayed the emotional roller coaster of staying in a relationship when it does not turn out like you planned.
