review 1: "There are no bad dogs, there are only bad owners."Young proves this adage in her book about her boxer puppy Henry. 10% of the book is funny stories about her dog's crazy hijinks. This part is thoroughly enjoyable.40% is Young trying, and failing, to be funny. And half of the book is whining about how she is a bad dog owner and fails at life. For example, Young buys a life vest for her pooch, and then repeatedly fails to take it with her when they are going to a lake. How is that Henry's fault? How is that funny?

... morep in shelters. While I don't recommend the book, I do think this is a great author and I look forward to checking out future books. She has a sense of humor and style of writing that is quite enjoyable. less
