review 1: For a story that could be classified as a comedy-drama graphic novel memoir, The Last Invisible Boy is likely the most tearjerking graphic novel you'll ever read. The story of Finn Garrett perfectly mixes the tears of trial with the laughs of life, and offers a surprisingly heartfelt look at Finn that readers may be able to relate to. For those who don't believe they're ready for a book like RJ Palacio's Wonder, try reading this book. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll contemplate the true meanings of life, and you'll be changed forever by the gutsy character Finn portrays.
review 2: I did not really like "The Last Invisible Boy." It's about a boy named Finn Garrett, a boy who is slowly (but surely) turning invisible because of an unknown reason, but the most log
... moreical reason would be because of his father's unexplained death. Finn tries to keep himself from disappearing, but with little success. He is friends with a girl named Melanie, and she attempts to comfort him even though his is slowly leaving the world. Finn rides to his town graveyard every day to relax, but most of the time he ends up crying.Ok, lets talk about the quality of this book. One of the few reasons I like this book is how it tells the story; it keeps from staying in one mood for too long. For example, there are a lot of sad parts strung together, but soon thereafter a lot of happy parts are thrown into the mix. Another negative about the book is that most of the pages are half-blank. Lastly, the ending is not very good because it is extremely predictable. So overall, while I might not think this book is very good, it has at least some appeal. less

The main character is such a sweet, sad kid. He's lovely. Gives the reader a lot to think about.
