review 2:
... more I read the novel “The Pleasures of Winter by Evie Hunter” and I can honestly I loved this book. Before reading it I read the synopsis of it and I was not too excited about. The book did begin slow but got very interesting within the middle of the first chapter. I imagined this novel to be a sappy romance novel with a bad mystery plot. I was surprised to find out that I was wrong because the plot was not bad at all. I loved not knowing who was after the main character Abbie Marshall and I loved the whole mystery of Jack Winter. As I am mentioning Jack Winter I have to say that I was really taken aback when I found out that his sexual desire was more of a need than anything. Usually in novels with sex stories, you can get an image in your head of what is going on. However, in this novel I was given goose bumps on my skin when I read the words. What kept me intrigues with this book was that it affected my affinity for both mystery and romance novels at the same time. This tactic is done my many other authors but these two authors executed this method perfectly. I was shocked when I found out that there were two authors. By knowing this information it made me want to analyze every park of the book to see if could find where their two identities are separated. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate this book a ten. The score is well deserved because the authors used many unique methods that they handled very carefully. I would recommend this book to those who are interested in a story with many twists that will fulfill every desire. less

I hope they write a second book where Jack gets to star in the 50 shades movie adaptation.
