review 1: I have been waiting to read this book for what seems like ages. I have longingly stared at it on my ereader for what feels like ever. I am glad I waited as if the second book wasn’t out when I had finished the first there is a very good chance I would have gone mental. It has been awhile since I have read a “rocker book”…Broody Alpha rocker book…oh heck yes! It is hard not to love Abel in all his broody, raw, hardcore badassery…Even more so when you look into said bad-assery and see, yes, he is alpha to his core, however is also a giant marshmallow inside. Abel meets Gia at his dads office and immediately sees she is someone he needs to have, that one person who will “break him” inside. They are yin to each others yang and while as a reader sometimes I wa... morented to slap Abel upside his head, Gia was always right there to verbally do it for me. Gia has secrets, HUGE ones which threatens to destroy all her and Abel have built Will she succumb to the evilness of her mother or go after the one she truly loves?This book ends on a MAJOR cliffhanger!!! So just go ahead and buy Forgiving Gia at the same time you one click Saving Abel. Gina Whitney has done a phenomenal job with this book and I am anxiously waiting on pins and needles for book three, and in the meantime will be going back and reading all of her other works.
review 2: I am a sucker for a rocker! If on top of being a rocker he is an alpha beast... yep, I am there too. This book is raw to the core and full of sensitive undercurrents. You can almost feel the vibe of a damaged soul and you wonder why he is this way.Love Cindy and Wood. Adore Gia! Obviously, Abel and Gia are the focus. Their love story is not smooth sailing but it is a rockin' ride you won't forget. How can these two survive each other? How can they live apart? less
