review 1: Mi opinión en dos idiomas: árabe y españolمثير للاهتمام، يحكي قصة حياته في فلسطين، وتتعرف من خلاله على قبح الاحتلال الاسرائيلي.. وكيف يقوم الصهاينه بنفس الاعمال التي كان هتلر قد ارتكبها بحق الابرياء!ناقص في الكتاب أن يتعمق أكثر في التاريخ الفلسطيني الحديث وأن يجعل القارئ يتعرف اكثر على تفاصيل القضية!Interesante.. y con las observaciones del autor creo que te das cuenta de cómo sufre el ciudadano palestino y cómo son de locos los colonos sionitas, y cómo cometen los mismos crimenes de Hitler contra la gente inocente! Creo que faltaba que el autor profunizase ... moreun poco más en la historia contemporanea de Palestina, para dejarle al lector más enterado de los detalles del confilcto..!
review 2: I didn't take to Guy Delisle on first exposure, but during my latest graphic novel library run, I thought I'd give him another shot. Maybe it's the topicality of the setting or my own travel experiences in recent years, but this time out, Delisle's unique deadpan, humanist strips really clicked. Delisle has an empathetic eye that makes his subjects come alive in just a few short panels. His chronicle leaves one alternating between feeling shame and pride in the human race. less
