review 1: Extraordinary Jane is the story of a dog that has grown up in the circus but unlike everyone else in her family. She isn't really good at anything and even though she's tried to be as great as everyone else, she just isn't. The book ends in a cute way that everyone will enjoy and helps kids learn a good lesson as well. The illustrations are my favorite part of this book because they really help to enhance the rest of the book and are very detailed so the reader has a lot to look at while they are reading the book. Hannah E. Harrison does an excellent job of using a story about a dog who just thinks that she is ordinary to help kids to realize that even if you're not really good at something, just being you makes you extraordinary. I would recommend this book to anyone beca... moreuse of the illustrations and the story in this book. This is a great book for kids and adults alike because sometimes everyone needs to be reminded that they are extraordinary even when they don't feel like it.
review 2: I smiled all the way through this book. Who wouldn't fall in love with Jane, the ordinary, extraordinary little dog?! The illustrations are just priceless. Poor Jane just doesn't feel like she measures up to her graceful mother, her strong father, her brave brothers, fearless sisters, or the amazing circus performers. She tries everything! It turns out she's best at just being Jane. And that is extraordinary. less
