review 1: "Somebody, Please Tell Me Who I Am" by Harry Mazer was not my type of book that I would normally read. It was just okay for me. Ben Bright's life is perfect. He is a very good actor and singer. He gets good grades. He has an amazing girlfriend, so when Ben goes away into the army nobody understands. His girlfriend, his best friend, his brother, nobody gets why he went away. Ben was in an attack. He now has a brain injury and, cant remember anything. The call from the doctor helped Ben's family get a little bit more hope. On page 22 Harry writes: "Whats's his condition now? Stable the doctor replied." Will Ben be able to remember who is friends and family are? WIll he ever be as talented as he was? Find out in this book. I would recommend this book for middle-schoolers look... moreing for a realistic fiction book about the army.
review 2: It was a good book it got kind of confusing at parts but if you van get through it the book is well written I liked it. I can make myself like Chris a boy with autism, why? I work with a boy who has autism once a week for 30 minutes and I know what it is like for him. Just working with him really shows how difficult it is for them and now that I have done it for a while I can start to put myself in a spot like Chris, losing a best friend and then getting him back. less

Started weak, got really interesting, got confusing, terrible/rushed ending.

For a book with such a big concept, it was sadly unremarkable.
