review 1: I got Frostbitten in exchange for an honest review through LoPFrostbitten overall was a fun book to read. It kept me engaged and was really well written. The only major thing I had a issue with, was connecting with the characters. They were well described and relatable but they felt very distant and it was hard for me to get into Anastasia's shoes and really feel what she's feeling like I can for many other main characters in other books. On a side note I guessed that Frost was a werewolf way before it was given to us in the book. It wasn't as suspenseful as it couldve been compared to other paranormal books. I think it couldve been better if when we all thought Frost was the wolf, he really wasn't. It would've been a major turn if you lead us on thinking that he was and t... morehen it was really someone else. Now for the positives. I really like the story line. A girl having issues trying to get her life back on track and a dreamy guy who is striking to the eye but shy. Frost was a lot different than most guy characters in books and I think thats why I liked him so much. I also liked how strong of a character Anastasia was portrayed as. When kate was acting like any stereotypical popular highschooler, Anastasia didn't back down or give up she just kept going. I think this characteristic also helped with her relationship with Frost (which i loved!). I also liked the fact that it was forbidden love and we were always on edge about if they were going to caught.Once again this book was written beautifully and I cant wait for there to be a second one in this series (im hoping!). Its not my favorite book of all time but it was a fun quick easy enjoyable amazing read!
review 2: *I received a copy of the ePub in exchange for an honest review.*Seventeen year old Anastasia is sent to live with her grandparents after making bad decisions. Life in a small town will be a big change for Anastasia. Upon her arrival she meets mysterious Frost. Heather Beck’s young adult paranormal romance is a well written and a fast paced read. The characters are well developed and have strong voices. She does not shy from teenage issues such as bullying, alienation, teenage romance, and self-esteem/self worth. The reader will cheer for Anastasia and Frost even when they don’t believe in themselves. The reader will discover that their story is not over. Will Anastasia survive a Frost bite? Looking forward to book two. less
