review 1: The realistic downside of crafting for so many of us whose projects never quite look like the picture promised. The author is honest to admit most failures come because we didn't read (or follow) the directions, substituted materials, or didn't measure. Whatever the reason, it's nice to see there are lots of us who end up with disasters. Rather than kicking ourselves and crying, this little book shows the humor of it all. A light read, mostly photos, and encouraging to all of us who will never be Martha Stewart. (I received this book from Goodreads First Reads.)
review 2: I'm a huge fan of the CraftFail site, so I was more than excited to see it in paper form - and somehow the book managed to far exceed even my sky-high expectations! New, never-before-seen
... more fails, hilarious writing and funny special features make this a guaranteed laugh-until-you-cry read from cover to cover. After I read (and re-read) it, even my kids snagged the book and kept running back into the living room every five minutes laughing, "MOM, look at THIS one!" For young and old, crafter or failer, and just any lover of humor, I can't recommend this book highly enough! less

I knew I was in trouble the first time I said "Ooh, I could totally do that!"

Hilarious. I love looking at how shitty other people's crafts also turn out.

Great to know that others struggle with craft projects too.
