review 1: My beliefs conflict with many of the beliefs and lifestyle choices of the life story of the author. For this reason my regard and rating of the book, sadly, has been degraded significantly. If my rating were based solely on the content of the book, this would probably be given 1 or 2 stars. What made up for 3 stars, then? It had a good start; the beginning part of the book I did't have much of a problem with because it was very saddening and yet heartwarming. I strongly commend the author's writing skills! They were superb and excellent. These two factors were what drew me into the book along with the fact that Cleo reminds me so much of my own cats. Although I am not one for personifying cats like the author would, I can agree with her that they do indeed bring much comf... moreort and lessons we can draw from.
review 2: This book help me to start reading again. I lost one of my kitties in Jan. 2014 and for the first time in my life, I couldn't take one book in my hands. The picture of Cleo is the same of my baby girl. I felt so identified with the story, because I had a big loss, just like in the beginning of the story. The story of Cleo and all her mischievous, make me laugh and cry. People with cats will enjoy this book and the not cat person will, too. less
