review 1: I really enjoyed this book. I have to admit, I have not read Cleo, this author's first book, but I plan to as soon as I can get a hold of it! I picked this book up at a bookstore and I have to say that both the title and the cover photo grabbed my attention and I ended up buying the book. This is a great story, sometimes humorous, sometimes sad, but the message in the book is wonderful. I felt connected to the author and I felt she does an amazing job of painting the scenery in words so that you feel as though you are right there. I highly recommend this book!

I was disappointed that it was over 100 pages before Jonah actually appears, and the end doesn't feature much about him either. The American title of this is Cats and Daughters and that's actually more true to what it's about, rather than being all about the cat. I enjoyed the humour too. less
