review 1: 'Reunited and it feels so good!' Reunited is a short novel about a group of ex friends that got together on a road trip to go to the reunion concert of their (used to be) favorite band, so is reunited to the squared. It was a nice simple novel about friendship and forgiveness, told back and forth by the point of view of the girls, a little rocker blue hair skater, a popular blondie and the book lover which is the one that brought them together. I like it's simpleness and how you could distinguished the different voices of the 3 girls. I also love everything that involves around roadtrips, so this book got me hook instantly. And a little warning to those romantics out there, the romance is almost non existent,since almost the whole novel revolves around friendship and the d... moreiscovery of each other's dreams. Perfect summer read.
review 2: The long-standing friendship of a group of three friends does not survive into high school, but a one-night reunion of the band they had all loved when younger brings them together on an unlikely road trip. I enjoyed the book trailer and the fact that Weisman also recruited three guys to be “Level 3,” the band that is causing the fictional characters’ reunion, complete with a mini documentary of the band and some music. less
