People often say, when they see me coloring one of my mandala designs, “Oh I haven’t got the patience to that.” I usually reply that it’s not about patience, it’s about enjoying the process, which I do. That being said, I usually make the same “lack of patience” comment to people who quilt. Yet some of the most beautiful, eye-popping, jaw-dropping art I’ve ever seen, were quilts.
So with this week’s design I incorporated elements from three upcoming mandalas of the day. This way, I combined the idea of quilting with the joy of coloring! Huzzah!!!
This Week…“Anyone who works on a quilt, who devotes her time, energy, creativity, and passion to that art, learns to value the work of her hands. And as any quilter will tell you, a quilter’s quilting friends are some of the dearest, most generous, and most supportive people she knows.” ~ Jennifer Chiaverini
Happy Coloring!
