review 1: Chloe Baker started the Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club when she was in the third grade and had a crush on a slightly older boy. It was unofficial, because at the time she believed clubs needed to be declared by someone like Oprah to be official. Despite the fact she abandoned the club when a couple years later Zack stole the pink streamers off of her bicycle, the club has continued and followed her to college where she and her best friend attend and where Zack is the star of the baseball team.Zack and Chloe have been mutually aggravating each other for years when two important people in their lives get married and throw Zack and Chloe together constantly. The two declare a truce for the benefit of their families, but since they’ve been fighting their attraction for year... mores, friendship quickly blossoms into more.Let’s get the bad out of the way. The editing is not great – JC Isabelle admits as much on her website. She would benefit greatly from a professional editor. The storyline is sweet, touching, and beyond cute. Chloe and Zack are clearly meant to be. I’m enchanted by JC Isabelle’s characters and the endearing universe that they live in.Bottom-line: Utterly adorable and if you like sweet, unpretentious love stories; you can’t go wrong with Isabelle’s lovely stories.
review 2: Okay so I just spent an age writng a review for it all to disappear, arghhhh. So, what I was saying was that I really loved this book!! When I first saw the book I didn't know what to expect never before having heard of J C Isabella. By the end of the book I was left truly satisfied and just a little sad that the book had ended as I had become attached to teh easygoing characters of Zack and Chloe. So here goes my attempt at re-writing my first ever Sypnosis type thing :)After Zack and Chloes parents meet in the grocery section of their local supermarket they never expected the problems their romance would cause their children.Thrown together as brother and sister, Zack and Chloe must develop a friendy reltionship and put on the act of their lives to try and persuade their parents that their new found camaraderie is for real. But what were they supposed to do when the easygoing relationship they now share begins to crack as questions begin to arise? How was Chloe supposed to explain to Zack that when she was little she started a fan club for him that had followed her to college and had spiralled so far out of conteol he no longer knew what to do, and How was she supposed to get her brain to understand that she really didnt care what Zack Warren thought about her? And Zack. How was he supposed to tell Chloe that she had saved his life ?,or explain that the only reason he was so hostile was that he was trying desperately to hide the sweetspot he had for her from the people around him.At the end of this heartwarming story you will be left with a feeling of hope and happiness. less

A nice, light, summer read. Well thought out characters and a good story. Not a lot of depth though.
