review 1: I could not put thise book down. I love a good romantic suspense story, and this did not let me down! Chase is sent to keep an eye on Angela after her father's mysterious death and unexpected message to his old friend Zach. I was glad that Chase did not have to watch from the shadows for too much of the book. I will admit that it was a little strange that she automaticly trusted him, but it kept that story at a nice, fast pace so I can easily overlook that. All in all, a great that end me riveted until the very end. I can't wait for more of this series!
review 2: Jacquie Johnson's first novel as far as I know, and I loved it. The heroine is smart and independent but yet she's not so stubborn that she doesn't recognize when she makes a mistake or when she needs
... morehelp. Chase is an ex-SEAL working undercover for the government, who is asked to keep a watch on Angela as she finds herself in the middle of murder and national security through no fault of her own. Angela has lost her father, and doesn't know who to trust. Their attraction builds as they lean on each other. Angel on Fire is a fast paced romantic suspense. I loved not only the main characters, but their friends and family as well. The only complaint I had was wanting a more detailed epilogue. I'm hoping we'll see another story and learn more about the world Ms. Johnson has created. less
