review 1: Great follow-up. I liked the mystery in this second installment of the series. The author managed to get in deeper emotionally with the characters and added some great dialogue. My main critique is that some parts were rushed as if the writer wasn't quite sure how to handle it. The intimate scenes felt a bit brief (though quite extensive on the making out...good job with those!). Also the action sequence(non intimate) felt like it was over in a flash. I know that the events didn't take long but it felt like they were resolved a bit top quickly at this point. I can't imagine that situation not having some serious consequences that just didn't seem to pan out. I'm looking forward to another installment. Not so sure that I want to read more about Cole (he's kind of a douche f... morerom what I can tell, though the ending alluded to some deeper discussions between him and Cam).
review 2: Wasn't as good as the first one but I loved it nevertheless .The main thing that bugged me though was the ultra speedy insta love. I can't buy a story of a 40 years old intelligent man falling head over heels for a guy that makes coffee without even talk to him . Base of what ? His blue eyes ? I mean how shallow is that ? Having said that it was sweet and romantic and the angst was just right so it was a joy ride, but again the first was better . less
