review 1: Solid 4 star read. The story was different with the h, Jayne being an escort earning money to pay off her dad's gambling debt. During that time, she's hired by Flynn Macquire. Things really start to get crazy at that point. He's a filthy rich playboy and he wants Jayne but she's just in it to make $ and get her dad away from the goons that are holding him until they are paid off. There's a bunch of secrets and twists in this book. I really enjoyed it and couldn't put it down. I wanted to go right into the second book, however I discovered that there is another cliffie in that one. So for now, I will be holding off on book #2 until book #3 is out.
review 2: 3 stars because I wasn't too crazy about it. I think Jayne is dumb but what do I know? I like Flyn... moren though. A little on the creepy side. lolThis book takes place in Vegas. Her dad is in trouble (gambling problem) so she has to sell her body to make enough money to get him back. Jayne and "her brother" Vince try to get as much money as they can. Jayne had a "date" with Flynn (someone that she knows and thinks is sexy) and turns out this guy has tons of money and is completely crazy/head of heals in love with Jayne and has been since he frist saw her when he was 16 years old. 12 years later and he finally has her. He expresses his love for her and she falls hard and fast for him. SPOLIER...Flynn's dad is the one holding Jayne dad. When she finds this out she freaks out and leave Flynn to find her dad and Vince. (Vince is gone too at this point) A big shot out happens when Jayne arrives. Her dad gets shot and dies, Vince gets shot and dies, Flynn gets shot but lives, and Flynn's dad makes a run for it. Jayne has to get out of town because Fylnn's dad will come after her. Flynn writers her a letter saying, "I understand why you are running but know that I will find you." She leaves town and the story ends. less
