review 1: This was definitely a quick read which makes it perfect for the poolside, fireside, or the beach. It was fun, witty and not overly romantic. Actually, it wasn't really romantic at all. I loved all of the cute names of the characters: Pippin, Stone, Zeke, Myra, Oatsie. And each character was it's own which made them all endearing. There were a couple of them that I wish I could make my own friends. :)
review 2: For a light read, this is a good one. With a title like this I don't expect great literature. Her send up of the social climbing, paranoid, back stabby women of the town was so snarky but funny at times. Unlike some "chick lit" the main character has some depth and the book ends up being about her self actualization more than about her getting back in
... morethe dating saddle (although her attempts at speed dating are comically accurate). Awesome plane ride read (I'd say beach read but I don't go to the beach often enough). less

Pleasant story line and then just an abrupt hanging ending.
