review 1: After the disappointment of how book 1 ended, I couldn't wait to read this book to get more of Moses but...........I was disappointed again!This is a prequel to the series, this book goes back to before Max. I really liked book 1 and this entire series would have been better for me if Moses had survived. From what I've read there is no book 5, I really wish there could be. Moses is alive and well and finds his way back to Max and their son, that's how I would love to have seen this series ended!I'll be totally honest, not sure I could fairly rate the book, the first book was the best and this series could have been so much more. I was really in shock and not happy with how things were ended for Max and Moses in book 1!
review 2: Good read. I really liked how w... moree finally got the back story about why Moses flipped on his MC and started working with the feds. I really felt for Maria having to go through all of that. I am a little disappointed that this is the last in the series and we weren't given closure with Moses and Max, even with how much time and trouble Joker is really in, or with what the MC thought after Luke went in there for the last time. less
